I wonder if this is the book that sparked my love affair with popcorn. And it's set on Halloween! But it's not scary.

Such a cute book that I remember from when I was a kid. Although it mentions Halloween and costumes, the focus of the book for me was always the popcorn itself, and we always followed up reading the book with making sticky sweet popcorn balls. Yummy!

While Frank Asch's Bear books are quite enjoyable, this one centered around Halloween is a bit problematic as the Bear is dressed as an 'Indian.'
