Norman Bates: It's not like my mother is a maniac or a raving thing. She just goes a little mad sometimes. We all go a little mad sometimes. Haven't you?
Marion Crane: Yes. Sometimes just one time can be enough.
We all go a little mad sometimes.
"Let me put it this way - She may have been able to fool me..... But she didn't fool my mother!"

SummaryAdd a Summary
Alfred Hitchcock directed this horror film in 1960. It is the story of a young woman Marion who in a moment of weakness steals $40,000 dollars from her employer. She gets scared and paranoid and drives off the main roads. She ends up at the Bates Motel which is in front of a big creepy house. That image tells the viewer this will not end well. When Norman comes to the desk, you think,he seems OK.
But Norman did have issues with Mom.
I remember when it first came out women refused to shower when no one was home.
Frightening or Intense Scenes: This film contains a single naked body so blurred that it can scarcely be considered nudity. There are no cuss words and the "violence" is not violent. Anticipation, music, and shadows on the wall are where the horror comes from, but for some that'll be terrifying enough.
