The artwork is just so pretty and though the story is not as deep as what I'm used to with the Sandman series, it was still enjoyable.

Not what I was expecting, but very beautiful.

Elegant, and ethereal in both writing and illustrations; I cannot think of a better pair to so beautifully represent the world of dreams. This version of The Sandman is based on an old Japanese tale.

Beautiful illustrations by Amano and love Gaiman's storytelling of an old Japanese folklore. Presents a tale involving agape love and karma.
