Twin Peaks plays with TV conventions to deliver a beguiling -- and unsettling -- blend of seemingly disparate genres, adding up to an offbeat drama with a distinctly unique appeal.

I was completely baffled as to where the pilot episode was...thought a disc was missing...nope, this set just doesn't have it. You need to pilot to understand what is going on!!! After a brief panic, I discovered the whole series on Hulu...but I do like seeing the special features...so far I discovered the "log lady" does an intro to each episode.

One of my favourite television series of all time. If you like deep, alberit eccentric characters and surrealistic stories, then Twin Peaks is for you. When I watch Twin Peaks now I feel like I am spending time with very good friends.

An eccentric FBI agent is called to investigate following the murder of a 17 year old home-coming queen in the small Pacific Northwestern town of Twin Peaks. As Special Agent Dale Cooper tries to figure out who is responsible for the death of Laura Palmer, he will meet some of the strangest and most memorable characters ever to grace the television screen, including: "the log lady", a philosophical air force major, a spiritual first nations deputy, a midget whose speech is eerily impaired and a demonic killer named Bob who may or may not be an interdimensional traveller capable of possessing human bodies. You're in for a real treat when you visit Twin Peaks! (I recommend you watch every episode with a slice of cherry pie and a cup of rich, black joe)

The One Armed Man: "Through the darkness of future's past, the magician longs to see. One chants out between two worlds... "Fire... walk with me." We lived among the people. I think you say, convenience store. We lived above it. I mean it like it is... like it sounds. I too have been touched by the devilish one. Tattoo on the left shoulder... Oh, but when I saw the face of God, I was changed. I took the entire arm off. My name is Mike. His name is Bob."

Killer BOB:" Mike. Mike! Can you hear me? Catch you... with my death bag! You may think I've gone insane... but I promise. I will kill again."
