First John Saul book I've read and I really enjoyed it. Sadly though I couldn't find another of his books I enjoyed as much as I did this one.

I really LOVED this book. This was the first Mystery book I've ever enjoyed to every last page. The chapters switch to the kidnappers view and UGGHHHH, YASSSS! I never read mystery, because they always only have the perspective of the detective.

I thought this was a pretty bad book. The plot was forced to make it fit and the conclusion comes out of nowhere.

This is the scariest of John Saul's books in my opinion. The kidnapping scene totally freaked me out.
