It was an okay book, I mean, it's pretty old and I know some people don't like that, but I found that it was entertaining enough and pretty interesting to learn about frontier life.

This was a good book to read. It gave me an insight as to what life was like during the pioneer and frontier days. After I was finished, it sort of reminded me of The Little House on the Prairie books. Just like Little House on the Prairie, the children learned to behave properly and to listen to what their parents told them. This book had some adult themes, but during those times, children learned how harsh and hard life was on the frontier.

If one were to concentrate on reading this book, they can get through it in a matter of a few days since I read one hundred-fifty pages of it in a matter of four hours and fifty minutes. I told myself if I can do that, I can read eighty-five more, which I was able to do and I finished the book. I also can somewhat clearly remember this book when I was in elementary school and I was glad to have read it after all this time.

You may or may not like this book, it is either exciting or extremely boring. Its inconsistency wears me out.

It's a really good book. It gives a good peek into life on the frontier in the 1860s. I recommend 9+.

This is the best book I have ever read. Caddie Woodlawn was one of my school books and it was such a good story. I recommend children 10+ read this book. Does have some gruesome things but great book!!! I got so in to it and could not get out of the story!!!!

A classic novel to try if you've read the Little House books and Anne of Green Gables. One of my favorites from childhood.
