This volume starts off continuing the battle between Sasuke and Naruto which began in Vol.25, the battle is beginning to become more heated and we find out Sasuke's intentions of killing Naruto in a means to unlock the mangekyo sharingan. We see Kakashi leaving the leaf village chasing after Sasuke and catching up towards their battle aswell as rescuing the others that we're assisting Naruto. Within this volume we get to finally see the contrast in both Sasuke and Naruto's strengths, in their battle many skills are being utilized such as Sasuke's sharingan, and Naruto's nine tail fox chakra. It also contains one of most Naruto readers favortite moments in the series in which Naruto's resengan and Sasuke's chidori clash. This creates quite a powerful moment in which we see the bond that connects Naruto and Sasuke since they were little still exists. The excitement and build up that leads to this volume makes for an awesome read, I'll allow you to formulate your own opinion on how this volume ends, however I will say this is one of my favorite Naruto manga's of all time, I certainly would recommend picking it up. - @magicsoup of the Teen Review Board at the Hamilton Public Library
