This book has something for every knitter. The colorwork patterns are lovely. There are several aran inspired cable patterns that look like fun to knit.

A wide variety of patterns. Coloured designs are graphed. Needle tranlations are included with each pattern. However, if you choose not to use the special yarns indicated, be prepared for swatch-making. An experienced knitter will have a general idea of yarn weight by the needle size, but will still need to do a swatch.

This book was mostly garter stitch projects without any shaping...pretty uninspiring, although the yarns did look lovely.
