I grabbed this one because I am celiac and I am always looking for great recipes. I am a very visual cooker and I did not like the fact that many of the wonderful images in this book are of the ingredients rather then the finished dish. There are some images of the dishes interspersed throughout. I also didn't like the fact that there were stories and anecdotes throughout. I did like the tips for gluten free baking and the French cooking tips. I thought some of the recipes had nice step-by-step instructions but there are many other gluten free recipe books that I prefer.

Love this cook book! Even if you do not have celiac sprue disease, the anecdotal stories in this book will have you laughing out loud. Most all of the recipes are easy to make, clearly explained in a simple to follow step-by-step way, and the photos are gorgeous. Amazing book and a great inspiration!
