Light now has the ultimate posistion in the Kira Case, he's now both Kira and L at the same time! Unfortuantley, another L has emerged and is as much as a threat as the old one. As well as that, there are three Death Notes in human world now and Light's one is the hands of gangsters whose leader is just as cunning as Light and the new L. And if Light and the new L didn't have enough problems a third shinigami has come down to the human world and joined the gangsters. Different from the others, as this volume jumps the gap of 3-6 years and sees Light an official member of the NPA.
