Even though this book is from 2008, it is still very relevant. The tests you take for LE jobs are pretty much the same, very standardized, looking at the same concepts as always. If you are taking any sort of test that is in the law enforcement field, (officer, code enforcement, etc.) I would recommend getting one of these books. I've read this one and it's great too. It tells of the different topics going to be tested, what they are looking for, and strategies for answering. Even though you may think, "oh I know my math, spelling, and testing abilities", I would highly recommend this because it's likely been a while since you've taken a long test and it is very helpful to practice. You can look around the room and see people who are nervous, and you will not be one of them.
