As someone who has been brewing Kombucha and making her own Milk Kefir for a number of years I found this an awesome starter resource to recommend to friends. The list of supplies is a bit over the top but I am a minimalist and think you can get away with doing things with a lot less gadgetry then most. The picture guides are beautiful as well as helpful. If you are interested in fermentation and integrating these foods into your diet this is a great book.
