Christian author Rachel Hauk wrote a lovely story about a hundred year old dress and the four brides who were married in this designer dress. Each lady adds something different to the tale. Definitely a light read but well done.
I was really looking forward to reading this book; the idea of a wedding dress, and the stories behind the brides who wore it. I was very disappointed. This book did not even rate 1 star for me, I gave one for the idea. I felt I had been dropped into a 1950's soap opera, or a really BAD romance from that era. Badly written pulp fiction with a christian twist that did not carry the story.
It had a great story line and I enjoyed it until I reached the 3/4 mark and then it just took a turn which resulted in it becoming a typical chick-lit read with a predictable ending.
Engaging story! Touches on some of the history of the South in the early 1900's. One dress, 4 brides and 4 love stories - easy to follow. Hard to put down!
Much better than Once Upon A Prince.
It was a slow start but gradually gained momentum. Lots of tears, but the ending wasn't too cheesy.
This book was amazing... wish it was in a series!
Beautifuly written book could not put it down I would highly recommend it.
