As commercial comics go this one is far above most, consistently. The art is very nice, and while the stories occasionally try to hard, they are still very good, and when someone is constantly doing "over the top" it's ok to hit some wrong notes, if you so consistently hit so many right notes.

Book eight of the series is good, but not great. By this point it isn't really that funny to me, but the story telling is engaging and worthwhile. Spider Jerusalem is preparing to take down the administration of President Callaghn. The writer seems to have really taken his time with this story line. The art is still good, but quality is less than earlier issues.
