A nice Christian historical fiction. The premise of a woman returning to her frontier home after being captured by Indians and living with them for 12 years appealed to me. She has suffered much loss in her young life, but her courage and strength help her forge a new life. Good supporting characters in the Scotsman she rescues, her Indian brother, and the 2 half breed children she takes into her home. Gives a small town account of the bitter aftermath of the Revolutionary War.
