It took me a while to get through this novel. The astronomy/comet angle seemed tedious. The father seemed too twitchy and nervous, and the
mother was too much of a dreamy
social climber type. And did anyone
find it creepy how "Junior" used his
telescope to spy on the girl across the
bayou?
