This season contains some of the best episodes yet. I enjoyed each and everyone of them. Season 3 has become my favorite!

Those who grew up with the Original Star Trek Series find all the rest that came after a great dissapointment. Baby Boomers and some Gen X are loyal to the original cast and their technology. They were the beginning and the original crew will always be remembered with the words "Star Trek" are mentioned.

They might've thought there was going to be another season, since they kept going after a near-cancellation the previous season. "Gilligan's Island" didn't do a "rescue" episode because they'd been told they were continuing for another season; then, William Paley demanded that "Gunsmoke" be put back on the schedule, so "Gilligan..." had to go. Perhaps something similar happened with "...Trek". They probably didn't know it was going to be a phenomenon.

Another great season! Same excellent casting; more interesting and entertaining plotlines. It's hard to believe this show is almost 45 years old. It's a real credit to the vision and creativity of Gene Roddenberry. The 21st century touch-ups were very well done and didn't detract from the series at all. Highly enjoyable. My only disappointment was a lack of series closure in the final episode. It's a real shame this series was cancelled after just three seasons.
