Everyone with a cell phone should read this book. Every parent who has a kid with a cell phone should read this. Every person with a brain should also read it. Riveting, wrenching, informative book about the science of attention. Hopefully you will never use your cell phone while driving ever again.

I couldn't put it down. The very human story integrated with the science of attention and distraction is one that i wish every single person in my life would read. The author has revealed the characters in this true and tragic story in a most respectful yet vulnerable way. The science of our brains is intriguing and answers question I have asked myself after many years of working with electronics and experiencing the changes in my own ability to focus and to concentrate.

A fascinating look at the science of attention -- and inattention -- told through the lens of a deadly texting-while-driving accident in Utah.
