What an odd book, should have been written as a comic book or grade B movie. Evidently the author has this take place in an alternate universe, since age-wise, they are all way too young to be Vietnam vets, and it was weird the author didn't realize there were a bunch of wars/military engagements since then? The main character is too stupid for words.

Dominick Candiotti was the brother of the murdered priest in The Strange Death of Father Candy. This book is much better than the one in which Dominick first appeared. In the nutshell you have an assassin that ends up having a conscience and who discovers the real reason he and his fellow assassins are being paid well to "sanction" others (kill them). If you know the personal politics of Les Roberts you'll probably chuckle when that reason is revealed. Is it plausible in today's world? Quite possibly, yes. I enjoyed this book but you will probably not care for it if you are a right wing nut job.
