A moving tribute to a remarkable man, ROBIN WILLIAMS REMEMBERED is a tribute to the late great, mostly through clips but with some interview material from both Robin and his peers. For a fan of Robin (and who isn't?), I'd recommend it.

There are 10 rules the media follows when spinning news back to the general public - and one of them is that they do not talk or write about suicide. So as we see comic bits, old footage, and glowing testimonials (cue swooning piano and strings here), we really do not get the back story of his death in any shape or form.

I guess the key word here is "remembered", which means we get the cut and paste documentary, instead of a real story that a lot of us can learn a few life lessons from.

Unlike "montage of Heck" or even "Presley by the Presleys" we won't understand the true angst of a genius. Shame.

My eyes got moistened at the beginning of this film and shed tears at the end of it.
Robin was such a gentle, kind, sweet, humble, and generous person; at the same time, he seems like a very delicate, fragile soul with immeasurable talents.
I miss his great acting and what's more, he will continuously be missed so very much and remembered for many, many years to come by numerous people in all generations worldwide.
Paying much and high respect to him and praying him to be in true peace there in heaven!

A good documentary but not nearly as in depth as I would have liked. It skimmed the surface mostly, focusing on his career and not so much on the man himself.

This documentary could have been easily expanded on into double its length, but having a wealth of commentary from people in the acting and comedy world who knew him well is a good start. What's even better- and more poignant- are the thoughts of Robin himself, in an interview not long before he died, speaking about his career. Even in that form, he's funny, engaging, and quick witted. It's so sad that he never saw the impact his death would have.
