I didn't like this one as much as Wildwood Dancing but it was still really good. The storyline was great and suspenseful. I would definitely recommend reading this one but read Wildwood Dancing first. I'm enjoying Juliet Marillier's writing more and more since I've discovered her. However, they require a lot of concentration - they are not some easy beach read.

Loved it. Better than the first in the series. The heroine is smart and witty, with some handsome suitors.
