Girl Online by Zoe Sugg was one of most entertaining books that I have read. Being a 16 year old, this book was easy to relate to. The main protagonist in the book, Penny, is a 15-16 year old who struggles with anxiety and panic attacks, which is what teenagers also deal with. There are messages that are being told in this book, while still keeping the book interesting. I would recommend this book for any young adult who loves a cute romantic novel, with a plot twist. This is an amazing book to read!

I love this book so much! I'm a huge fan of Zoella and I think this book is really sweet and well written. It's a really light read, but it's still really great, which i think is really hard to achieve without a book sounding boring. Hope Zoe comes out with an autobiography/lifestyle book soon, she's a great writer. Overall AMAZING book, would definitely recommend!!

Ugh. I hate Megan! And Ollie too. They're Penny's so called "friends", but all they did was back stab her. And two times in a row! I wish something is done about this in the sequel. Actually, forget about the sequel. This book was absolute trash. What a waste of my time. The only reason why it made it in the New York Times Bestseller list is because she's a famous YouTuber.

Noah on the other hand is debatable though. He lied to Penny, and that lead to horrible consequences. Personally, I thought it was pretty lame for Penny to forgive him that easily. This "love at first sight" gig is cheesy in general. Something's off about him... I don't trust Noah.

Come on Zoe. You're way better than this. The book is so cliche and predictable. And you never even wrote the damn novel either. You hired a ghostwriter. This is a joke. It's fake, AND bad to read! For anyone who's debating to read this or not, don't expect much. Only brainwashed tween girls would enjoy this cringe fest.

I loved this book. My friends say Noah was so mean and what he did to Penny was harsh. I love Penny! And I enjoyed this book.

This book was interesting! It was cheesy at parts... but that's ok. I still thought it was good for Zoe's first book and I wanted to read more!

In my opinion, this book was a little disappointing. I was expecting a bit more from Zoe. I don't think anyone her age would find this book interesting. As a 13 year old, I even found this book to be a bit too immature and predictable. I also think that this book was a bit longer than it needed to be. I did enjoy reading it though, and I like how it covered heavier topics that loads of teens have to deal with like anxiety.

Overall a decent book, but it just seemed a little too predictable and cliche, but it was still a really entertaining and gripping story.

“Every time you post something online, you have a choice.
You can either make it something that adds to the happiness levels in the world—or you can make it something that takes away.
I tried to add something by starting Girl Online.
And for a while, it really seemed to be working.
So, next time you go to post a comment or an update or share a link, ask yourself: is this going to add to the happiness in the world?
And if the answer is no, then please delete.
There is enough sadness in the world already. You don’t need to add to it.”
