I thought it was really interesting. I read it in two days and didn’t want to put it down until I finished it! I did find that detail was put into unneccesary things and that it was ultimately predictable with some interesting things thrown in here and there.
I am interested in reading more books by this author since I did really like the thrilling, suspenseful and romantic aspect of this book.

K. Robards fills her books with too much boring details which distracts from her story. I end up scanning past 10+ pages many times throughout her book to get where some action takes place. I only grabbed her book because I was in a hurry ........... she could be a good writer.

Reading this book I wanted to say, Well, it's enough, we understood, understood, how beautiful and sexually attractive the protagonist is. In the course of the whole narrative is described the increasing sexual tension between the main characters. And with the same descriptions of the magnificent muscular body of the protagonist. This is really funny. It seems that the author has an obsession for this kind of men.
If it were not for an excellent description of the storm and the climatic conditions of the place where the action takes place, then this book it’s not worth reading. Well, also there is some knowledge of surviving skills.

I'm a fan of Karen Robards but I was disappointed with this book. It had a potentially good story line but all the detail was spent on describing the weather instead of the plot. It also beat the reader over the head with how physically attracted Gina was to Cal. Between that and the weather, I felt like I was reading the same thing over and over throughout the story.

This was an OK read. If you want something light and easy to read, this would be it. The story is very predictable. There was a lot of time spent on describing the weather conditions and I found myself skimming over some of it. Attu in Alaska was apparently controlled by the Japanese in World War II until the Americans took it. So there was a little history thrown in.
