This is a well written resource regarding the keto diet. I would recommend this book to anyone questioning if keto is right for them (this book states that for certain individuals it is not unless under strict medical supervision), the basics of the diet, and the physiological principles the diet is founded upon. It is written by a registered dietician. This book does not have a lot of recipes included in it. For that, I recommend finding a keto cookbook.
