I am sorry to have spent time watching this. I was surprised to see two good actors in such poor roles. I'm not sure what happened, but this was downright awful. The story was... meh, the dialogue was terrible and no amount of artistic liberty or talent could have rescued this film. Save your time. Don't discount these actors though, they are just making a living and I won't give up on them, but I will look for movies directed by Bette Gordon... and avoid like the plague. This had a very "Movie of the week/B-Movie feel". They just happened to luck out casting a couple of better know actors for publicity... and that's all folks. My review? - Thumbs down. One star, wait - I just realized I can give a 1/2 star! Yep. 1/2 star.

Julia Stiles is a remarkable actress and should be receiving much better roles than this.

Hollywood is run by doofuses.
