A lovely story about kindness and empathy. Despite not being related by blood, pup and bear develop strong familial connections. A great story to relate to diverse families.

This story will melt your heart.

"You are not my mother, said the wolf pup. I am not your mother, said the polar bear, but I can cuddle you and keep you safe...Tired at last, the pup curled up against the bear, and they napped, listening to the wind whimper and sigh."

A beautiful tale of a polar bear who finds a lost wolf pup in the frozen arctic after a snowdrift. She cares for the pup until he is ready to venture into the wild on his own. Years later, the grown wolf returns the kindness to a lost polar bear cub. A story about the cycle of love and kindness of others.
