First book in a new series centered around a female FBI agent that works in the missing persons division. Along with her current case of a missing teenager we get a lot of background info on her past. She has both physical and emotional scars from her childhood with an abusive mother and passive father that didn't protect her. Nothing glaringly outstanding or bad about this book. An average mystery with OK characters.
